Finding a birthday gift for my spouse was a nightmare...
Buying the plane tickets to Los Angeles for my husband, a Graphic Designer, my two kids and me was easy enough, but figuring out things to do while we were there was a Bond mission. I, as a Creative Director for a marketing company, am naturally obsessive compulsive. Organizing is my forte, but when it came to figuring out what to do in Los Angeles, where to go and when to do it, I found it to be a feat filled with tedium and excessively hard work.
Sifting through tonnes of travel guide books, travel magazines and websites I managed to develop a schedule after four weeks of concentrated hard graft. Although the mission was accomplished, I couldn’t help but feel slightly unfulfilled. Why couldn’t I have just gone to one source to find all of the information I was looking for?
That was the "eureka moment" when I decided to pursue The Ultimate Concierge.
